Description

Acting substance - calcium dobesilate (Salsii dobesilas): 2,5-dihydroxy-benzenesulfonate calcium dihydrate.

Pharmacological action

Decreases the increased permeability and the brittleness of capillaries, the plasticity of erythrocytes increases in vitro.

Indications for use

Diabetic microangiopathy and retinopathy, venous insufficiency, peripheral stagnant edemas, the increased permeability of capillaries and disorder of microcirculation. In the therapy with atherosclerosis, cirrhosis of the liver, haemorrhoid and others

Method of application and dose

2-3 tablets each during the day in the course of 4-6 months are assigned inward with diabetic microangiopathy and diabetic retinopathy (depending on the stage of disease). Subsequently the dose can be reduced to 1-2 tablets during the day. With the defeat of venous vessels the preparation assigns on 1 tablet 3 times a day during 1-3 weeks and further on 1 tablet of 2 times in the day. Preparation assumes during or after the consumption of food, washing down by the large number of liquid.

Side-line action

The disorders of gastrointestinal tract observing sometimes or allergic precipitations on the skin pass independently with the decrease of dose or the cancellation of preparation.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, hemorrhage (against the background the method of anticoagulants), pregnancy.

Form of the release

Tablet on 0.25 g, in the packing of 100 pieces.

Doxium is used for treatment of prevention of thrombosis, venous stasis, varicose veins
