Description
The acting substance - Troxerutin of the class of flavonoids derived refers to the routine, having P-vitamin activity. A mixture of 3 ', 4' and 7 - (b-hydroxyethyl) rutozide; semi-synthetic derivative of rutin.
Pharmacological action
Flavonoid (derivative of rutin), possesses P- vitamin activity; renders the venomotor, angio protector, antihydropic, antioxidant and antipyretic action. It participates in the oxidation-reduction processes, it blocks hyaluronidase, it stabilizes the hyaluronic acid of cell walls and decreases the permeability and the brittleness of capillaries, increases their tone. It increases the density of vascular wall, decreases exudation of the liquid part of the plasma and diapedesis of the cells of the blood. Inflammation in the vascular wall is decreased, limiting adhesion to its surface of thrombocytes. To patients with the chronic venous insufficiency is recommended application both in the initial and in the last stages of disease. With the states, which are characterized by the increased permeability of vessels (including with the scarlet fever, the influenza, measles, allergic reactions), they use in combination with the ascorbic acid for strengthening its effect.
Indications for use
Varicose expansion of veins, surface thrombophlebitis, venous ulcers and dermatitis, with the haemorrhoidal units.
Method of application and dose
Preparation is at first assigned intramuscularly or intravenously (slow introduction) on 1 ampule in a day other day (not less than 5 injections), then they pass to the oral therapy with the application of 2-3 capsules during the day during the food during 2-3 weeks even more. Gel is brought in the morning and in the evening to the skin of unhealthy section and slightly they concentrate before the complete suction of preparation.
Side-line action
Allergic reactions, erosive- ulcerous defeats of the digestive tract, headache.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, stomach ulcer and duodenum, chronic gastritis (in the phase of aggravation), pregnancy (I term), the period of lactation. Precautions. The kidney deficiency (prolonged use).

Capsules on 0.3 g, in the packing of 50 capsules; tablet fort 500 mg, in the packing of 30 pieces; ampule on 5 ml of 10% solution, 5 pieces in the packing; 2% hydrophilic gel until 40 in the packing.

Troxerutin is used for treatment of prevention of thrombosis, venous stasis, varicose veins
