Description
Active substance - verapamil: 5 - [(3,4-Dimetoxifenetil)-methylamino] -2 - (3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-2-izoproilvaleronitril hydrochloride.
Pharmacological action
Blocker of calcium channels. Antianginal, antiarrhythmic and hypotensive action renders.
Indications for use
Stenocardia, arterial hypertonia, the preventive maintenance of the disturbances of the rhythm of heart.
Method of application and dose
They assign inward with the stenocardia on 120 mg of 3 times in a 24 hour period, with the hypertonia - on 120 mg of 2 times in a 24 hour period, increasing dose to 160 mg of 2 times in a 24 hour period; the preventive maintenance of the disturbances of the rhythm of heart - 40-120 mg of 3 times in a 24 hour period.
Side-line action
Bradycardia, hypotonia, AV- blockade, nausea, vomiting, vertigo, headache.
Contraindications
Expressed bradycardia, AV- blockade II-III degree, hypotonia, sharp heart insufficiency, chronic insufficiency of the II- III degree, increased sensitivity to the preparation.
Form of the release
Tablet on 40 and 80 mg, in the packing of 50 pieces.
