Description
Preparation of the Digalen-neo, obtained from leaves of digitalis of rusty (Digitalis of ferruginea L.).
Pharmacological action
cardiotonic means; it strengthens systole, the diastole increases, the rhythm of the heart contractions makes less frequent.
Indications for use
chronic insufficiency of the blood circulation of the I- III stage, the tachyarrhythmia atrial fibrillation.
Method of application and dose
Inward predominantly with the mild cases of heart insufficiency on 10-15 drops of 2-3 times in the day. Highest doses for the adult inward: single - 0.65 ml (20 drops), daily - 1,95 ml (60 drops).
Side-line action
Should be considered the individually increased sensitivity and the danger of cumulative effect. Anorexia, nausea, vomiting, discomfort and abdominal pain, diarrhea, gynecomastia, thrombocytopenia, skin precipitations, keratopathy (rarely).
Contraindications
Expressed bradycardia, complete atrioventricular blockade, quickening of the assaults of stenocardia.
