Medicinal properties
Diuretic means (from the Greek. diureo - singling out the urine), medicinal substances, which increase isolation by the kidneys of urine and the decreasing the content liquids in the human organism.
In the hypotensive therapy frequently use thiazide diuretics, loop of Henle diuretics and potassium-sparing diuretics.
Thiazide diuretics weaken the smooth musculature of peripheral arterioles, they proportionally reduce both systolic and diastolic pressure, they support or even increase heart emission.
Furosemide is used for treatment of fluid build-up and swelling caused by congestive heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disease. It is also used in combination with other medicines to treat fluid build-up in the lungs.This medication is also used to treat high blood pressure. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
