Description
Active substance - furosemide: N-(2-furilmetil)-4-chloro-5-sulfamoilant-ranile acid.
Pharmacological action
High speed diuretic (saluretic). Diuretic effect is connected with the oppression of the reabsorption of ions Na and Cl both in of the proximal and in the distal sections convoluted tubules and in the ascending divisions of loop of Henle. Because of the expansion of peripheral vessels and diuretic effect renders hypotensive action.
Indications for use
Furosemide is shown by patient with the heavy forms of arterial hypertonia, with which other saluretic preparations are ineffective, and also for stopping the heavy hypertonic crises.
Method of application and dose
They assign inward, it is intramuscular or it is intravenous. Furosemide assigns on 20-40 mg 1 time in a 24 hour period with the hypertonic disease, during the combination with the heart insufficiency the daily dose can be increased to 80 mg.
With impossibility or inexpediency of the designation of furosemide inward the preparation is introduced intramuscularly or intravenously (is slowly jet) on 20-60 mg 1-2 times in a 24 hour period, if necessary dose it can be increased to 120 mg. Preparation is introduced during 7-10 days even more. Then they pass to the method of preparation inward.
Side-line action
Are possible nausea, diarrhea, hyperemia of the skin, itch, hypotonia, reversible worsening in the rumor, interstitial nephritis. As a result of intensive diuresis are observed vertigo, the depression, muscular weakness, thirst. Is possible the development of hypokalemia, hyperuricemia, uricosuria, hyperglycemia.
Contraindications
The first half of pregnancy, hypokalemia, hepatic coma, the terminal stage of the kidney deficiency, the mechanical impassability of urinary tracts.
Form of the release
Tablet on 40 mg, in the packing of 50 pieces, 1%- ache the solution in the ampules on 2 ml, in packing 5, 10, 25 ampules.
