Medicinal properties
Prostaglandins (PG), biologically active lipids, which are the derivatives of hypothetical prostanic acid and the distinguished by position deputies also of double bonds in cyclopentane ring and side circuits.
Recently prostaglandins and related to them biologically active compounds (leucotrienes, prostacyclins, thromboxanes) were the object of close attention of researchers.
